Mediterranean Sea 43G Medium Combat Ship

The Terran Sea Type 43 was a larger and more powerful version of the Isometric, at the time designated a "heavy frigate". Three generations of the Type 43 were built, in 2113-4 the surviving ships were merged into a single class called Type 43G.

Coril 86B Shuttle

The Coril-DDS is a reverse engineered copy of the Tarbotian Coril design updated and improved. All ships are named after former or current prominent members of the DDS/NS however some have been renamed after their namesakes have been found guilty of treason!

An upgrade programme began in 2123. Coril 86C has a number of improvements including Mini Proton RM-53 e-Core engine, 3 cell TPM-VLS, avionic and communications upgrades.

Heron / SROPS (Short-Range Operations Patrol Ship) 176B/C Patrol Shuttle

The SROPS patrol boats are a new class of small craft which are carried by warships (Isometric size and greater) for patrol and boarding work. The SROPS is not capable of faster than light travel. Newer ships and the whole fleet will be improved to a Revision C standard.

Officially they are known as the Heron 176 though this name is seldom used.

Nightingale 88A Hospital Ship

The Nightingale class hospital ships are based on the SUP design. The ships are jointly owned by the NS and UNP. The ships have extensive hospital facilities for up to 1000 patients including isolation wards, operating theatres and medical laboratories. They are also be able to carry a large amount of medical supplies and will have a secondary role as a general transport. 

They are to be replaced by 2127 and converted into transports.

Ferret 101B/C Unmanned Combat Vehicle

The Ferret is a space fighting drone which was jointly developed by NS, the Dinos and Starbotians. The Ferret 101B/Ferret-G is a development of the original Ferret-E which can operate in atmospheres as well as in space. The air force also operates some of these drones (whose numbers are included here).

From 2115 production switched to the improved Ferret 101C which can carry a third missile in lieu of the laser gun and has improved vector thrust and electronics. All surviving earlier generation Ferret 101As have now been upgraded to B standard.

Alpha 121A Nano Fighting Ship Prototype

An optionally unmanned small combat vehicle equipped with worm drive, Zip cannon and EA-X. It entered service in late 2112. It is mostly used for research and development.
