Panther 35A Heavy Combat Ship

The D-X programme was one of the most exciting in NS history as it was thought that the "Panther" class could well usher in the future of space warfare. The ships were as powerful as a Quasar bomber yet the size of an Intrepid II with the resulting cost and operational savings. The ships made their debut in Q1 2108. All ships now have worm drive. Details below are for the Panther Intermediate 2118 Update. They are expected to remain in service until about 2148.

The Panther ILU will begin 2121 and will be Phase 1 of the unification of the three Type 35 variants. The Panther 35M will have a larger hull, improved multi-role capabilities and an increased missile load (148). Later on the type will be fitted with an e-Core engine.

These are developed Panthers with a larger fuselage for a multi-role operations. They are the first NS ships to be fitted with worm drive from new.

Mulberry 36A Support Cruiser

These Raegris built ships are based on the Yel'Tema / RC-2B design updated with the latest NS weapon technologies and worm drive. They also have an extensive docking bay to support special forces operations. They have been designed with good command and communications facilities and can act as flagships for small deployments.

Solaris 37C Heavy Combat Ship

The Velocity was the third of the so-called "Generation 3" spaceship designs along with the Quasar and Isometric. However, construction was slow until the modified Velocity-N / Type 37C design built by the Raegris. Earlier Velocities were later rebuilt to the same specification as the 37C to form a unified class. The Solaris is a powerful ship with good warfighting capabilities which fits between the heavy cruisers and destroyers in the NS line-up.
