Heron / SROPS (Short-Range Operations Patrol Ship) 176B/C Patrol Shuttle

The SROPS patrol boats are a new class of small craft which are carried by warships (Isometric size and greater) for patrol and boarding work. The SROPS is not capable of faster than light travel. Newer ships and the whole fleet will be improved to a Revision C standard.

Officially they are known as the Heron 176 though this name is seldom used.
