The Sentinels are ex-UNP Space Patrol ships transferred to NS. They are small ships designed for local policing. They were withdrawn by the end of 2120.

Guardian 54A Light Patrol Craft

The Guardian patrol ships are former UNP Space Patrol ships which were transferred to NS. They are similar to the Deterrence 53A but able to mount longer patrols. They weree replaced in the early 2120s. The ships are named after political leaders of the early Proxima Centauri 5 and 7 colonies.

Solaris 37C Heavy Combat Ship

The Velocity was the third of the so-called "Generation 3" spaceship designs along with the Quasar and Isometric. However, construction was slow until the modified Velocity-N / Type 37C design built by the Raegris. Earlier Velocities were later rebuilt to the same specification as the 37C to form a unified class. The Solaris is a powerful ship with good warfighting capabilities which fits between the heavy cruisers and destroyers in the NS line-up.

Navelwort (Special Coril) 86M

These were customised Corils for "special transport", thought to be used by NS special forces though this has never been officially confirmed. They were withdrawn in 2124 to be replaced by the Falcon 47W. They may be converted into personnel transport.

Alpha Centauri 93A Training Ship

These are exported Helwin class ships of Bolitic construction and bought by the DDS from their former owners via a third party. They are used for trials, "aggressor" training, occasional patrols and other (unspecified) purposes. Sufficient parts to build a third ship have recently been sourced though the parts ended up being used to keep the others in service.

They are due to be withdrawn by early 2127.

Warrior 16A Strike Bomber

The Warrior 16A was introduced from 2114 as an "affordable" supplement to the Quasar bomber force. The Warrior is a simpler spacecraft utilising common components and some commercial equipment to reduce costs. The design was optimised for the strike role though is still capable in general combat of defending itself. It has seen service in conflicts against the Argon and Starbot.

Starsystem 91B Training Ship

The Starsystem was the first series production warship for the DDS fleet and the direct ancestor of the Isometric (indeed one battle damaged Starsystem was rebuilt as the Isometric (Prototype) to help develop the Type 41 family. As they became obsolete they were withdrawn from front-line service but found a new role as training ships. With their second generation structures reaching end of life NS decided to rebuilt them as the Proxima Centauri 42A light destroyer. This conversion programme was completed in 2119.
